Meet The Faculty
Roger Musa, M.D.
Program Director The Aultman Family Medicine Program provides an excellent opportunity for both personal and professional growth. The support of the faculty and staff ensures that each resident has adequate supervision while maintaining the right amount of independence and autonomy. This is precisely why I decided to join the faculty after I completed my residency here at Aultman Hospital. |
Keith Werstler, M.D.
Associate Program Director I have been a part of the Aultman Family Medicine Residency Program for many years, first as a resident and now as Associate Program Director. It remains a privilege and pleasure to be involved with this excellent program and such caring people. I consider myself fortunate to help shape the next generation of family physicians. |
Robert Brophy, M.D.
Associate Program Director NEOMED Clinical Site Director and Clerkship Director My position as Associate Director at Aultman Family Medicine Residency provides me with a wonderful balance of supervising resident physicians, teaching medical students, and caring for patients. The positive working relationships with fellow faculty, residents, and staff at the residency make Aultman an enjoyable place to work. |
Diana Tec, D.O.
Assistant Program Director I feel honored to be a part of the Aultman Family Medicine Program. The welcoming and friendly atmosphere creates the ideal environment to grow professionally and personally for residents and faculty alike. It is a privilege to be able to practice full spectrum osteopathic family medicine in such a wonderful community. My training has taken me to almost every corner of Ohio but Canton is the best fit for me. I attended the University of Dayton for undergraduate, Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school, Summa Akron City Hospital for residency and University of Michigan for a Women’s Health Fellowship (totally counting this as my northwest corner, sorry Toledo) and I grew up in Cleveland. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, taking care of my two dogs, reading, painting and almost any outdoor activity. I am always looking for new activities and hobbies to try. Aultman Family Medicine Program felt like family from the second I walked in and I look forward to you joining our family.

Louise Kolarik, M.D.
Assistant Program Director I feel privileged to be teaching with the Aultman Family Medicine program, having learned an invaluable amount when I was a resident here. I grew up in England where I graduated from medical school and moved to Ohio when I met my husband. I was welcomed by Aultman Family Medicine residency at that time. The outstanding education and support that I received here, from faculty and specialists, was the perfect combination for preparing me for the 10 years of private practice that I then went into. I have returned to medical education because I love to teach and am excited to now contribute towards shaping the new generations of doctors. I have a strong interest in mental health care and I love to be able to care for patients throughout the whole spectrum of their lives. Outside of work I am a Mom of two boys who keep me busy running from one sport to another. I love to get out to the local parks and hike, and belong to a book club which makes me read at least one non medical book a month, with the incentive of a night out, wine and friends! I very much look forward to working with you to help you reach your goals in medicine and beyond. |
Teresa Wurst, M.D.
Assistant Program Director I love teaching at this residency because it allows faculty members to pursue their own areas of interest in teaching. We all have diverse interests which gives residents and medical students a rich learning environment. I am the medical director of the Hartville Migrant Clinic which is a free clinic for mostly Hispanic migrant farm workers. Here, students and residents can learn valuable skills in caring for this vulnerable population. |
Lonnie Hammond, Ph.D.
Director of Behavioral Science Teaching within the residency program provides a great opportunity to help residents develop into well rounded reflective practitioners, learning the importance of assessing and treating clinical concerns within the patient’s psychosocial context, gaining a working understanding of psychosomatic and integrative medicine, and developing a mindfulness approach to achieving and maintaining their own professional/personal/work/life balance. |
